I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Waterloo in 2019, with a major in Religious Studies and minor in English Language & Literature.
I started working in multiple disciplines immediately after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. While I was stuck indoors, I worked remotely to provide music to Hope Lutheran Church for their weekly services. During the following years, I started freelance content writing and copywriting, wrote what would eventually become my first three self-published books, the Harlow Mystery series, and also worked in email and social media marketing, web & graphic design, and game writing.
Why did I work in so many disciplines? Curiosity. I wanted to learn more about how all of them worked, how I could use the skills I learned from those areas to help and entertain others. My consistent curiosity and keeping an open mind has given me many opportunities to strengthen current skills and learn new ones.
My versatility and creativity are showcased through my consistent adaptation to an organization's creative needs and my ability to rebrand and refresh their images to communicate their mission to new audiences through my copy & content writing, web & graphic design, and email & social media marketing. I provide music to uplift church services, write engaging and entertaining narratives for games, and I write fiction and poetry to inspire readers with hope, perseverance, creativity, and happy endings.
When I'm not writing, I'm probably sewing, reading, and getting inspiration for new creative projects.
