"Early on I was impressed with the preparation Claris put into learning the many new songs from our hymnal. Just as Claris was getting more comfortable with the music and the people at Hope, the pandemic hit and we had to pivot our worship to an online model. Claris was able to pivot with us, dependably recording videos that showed her versatility playing various hymns on piano or organ which added to our online worship experience. 

Over the years, Claris has always shown her reliability in terms of communication either in person or via email to ensure the music during worship was part of a smoothly run service. Even with the best of preparations sometimes things would come up that would necessitate a last minute change in the service and Claris was always flexible, handling the changes professionally. Our situation of not having a full-time pastor meant that Claris had to deal with a different pastor each week and she rose to the challenge with patience and understanding. "
