I've worked with Concerned Lay Catholics (CLC), Rhythm Of Life Society (ROLS), Sustainable Waterloo Region (SWR) and Fitness For Mental Health (FMH) to write email newsletters and fundraising campaigns and create social media and manage social media accounts promoting their mission, vision, and available services.
I am currently working with Concerned Lay Catholics (Oct. 2025-Jan. 2026) to analyze their Mailchimp email data list to recommend strategies on how they can grow their mailing list and utilize their current list for future campaigns and events.

The Advent Appeal is Concerned Lay Catholics' yearly newsletter to raise funds for the organization, sent at the beginning of the Advent season to their supporters to encourage donations. I wrote the copy and formatted the newsletter to fit their needs for the 2025 Advent season. I also wrote a Giving Tuesday email and a follow-up email as part of this email campaign.

As as social media manager for Rhythm Of Life Society, I:
Wrote captions and designed social media posts and ads for promoting Rhythm Of Life Society's events and programs.
Scheduled social media posts using Buffer, the social media scheduling platform that ROLS uses.
Assisted ROLS volunteers with learning to use Buffer.
I also was the one that persuaded ROLS to use Buffer!

As Program Coordinator Intern and Memberlink Portal Engagement Coordinator for SWR, my tasks in these roles included:
Writing regular email newsletters and plan email campaigns to attract customers and clients to participate in various campaigns, including familiarizing SWR's clients with their rebrand back in 2022
Includes regular email newsletter creation for the Impact Network program's bi-weekly newsletter which was sent to their program members.
Batch-created social media post templates and ads for promoting SWR's Impact Network program's MemberLink website
Batch-created 4-6 months' worth of social media posts for SWR's Impact Network Program to promote their forum on the MemberLink website
Created social media ads for SWR's ClimateAction WR program using Canva.
As a Newsletter Editor for FMH, I assisted with designing and writing content for FMH's newsletter, which was sent out weekly/biweekly to subscribers. Written content involved promoting FMH's Fitness Mental Health Specialist course and promoting other events they hosted.
Additionally, as an indie author & poet, I send two newsletters to my readers each month to promote my own work and give them updates on the progress of various books I'm writing.
